Abstract
The Australian Bureau of Meteorology produces a Group for High Resolution Sea Surface Temperature (GHRSST) compliant Sea Surface Temperature (SST) dataset over the Australian region, based on direct measurements from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Polar Orbiting Environmental Satellites (POES) Advanced very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) instruments.
