dc.description.abstractThis document provides advice on the analysis of polyfluoroalkyl compounds (PFCs) in samples of water, sediment, and biota. The analysis of PFCs in these matrices generally includes extraction with organic solvents, clean‐up, and liquid chromatography (LC) with mass spectrometric (MS) detection. This document provides an overview of environmentally relevant PFCs and information on the currently applied techniques for the analysis of these PFCs, including sampling, pretreatment, extraction, clean‐up, instrumental analysis, quantification and quality assurance, and quality control.en_US
